Credits
Prepaid balance on the account. One credit is one US cent, so every price in the API is both a credit figure and a cent figure, already the buyer price, already converted from whatever currency the seller quotes in. Credits are debited when an order is placed, not when it is delivered; a failed placement is refunded once the supplier has made us whole.
Where does credits appear in the API?
GET /v1/credits for balance, spend caps and read allowance; POST /v1/credits/checkout to top up by card; auto-reload thresholds in the dashboard. Every price field is price_credits or usd_minor, the same number.
Why does it matter?
One invoice across every marketplace, no per-seller accounts, no currency conversion at checkout, and a basket costed from the API does not move when you buy it.
