Terms of Service
Last updated 29 August 2026
These terms govern your use of Placement API, operated by Future Bets, Inc. (“we”, “us”). By creating an account you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
1What the service is
We aggregate link placement inventory from third-party marketplaces, normalise it into one catalogue, measure the domains independently, and let you search and purchase across all of it through one API and one balance.
You are buying from us. We buy from our suppliers on our own account. We do not disclose which supplier fulfils a given placement, and no agency, partnership, or direct relationship exists between you and them.
2Accounts and API keys
You are responsible for everything done with your API keys, including by software or AI agents acting on your behalf. Keys are shown once and stored only as a hash; a lost key is replaced, not recovered.
Keys carry scopes. A read-only key cannot spend money or issue a key that can. Per-order and per-day spend caps are yours to set and are enforced server-side. We strongly recommend setting them before connecting an autonomous agent.
3Credits
One credit equals one United States cent. Credits are prepaid, are not a deposit, do not accrue interest, and are not legal tender.
Credits do not expire. They are redeemable only against placements on this service and are not transferable between accounts. We will refund an unspent credit balance to the original payment method on written request, less any amount already committed to submitted orders.
4Prices and quotes
Catalogue prices are observations of supplier prices, not live quotes. Every price carries the time it was observed. We refuse to sell at a price older than 48 hours rather than honour it optimistically.
A quote returned by our planning endpoint binds the prices in it for 30 minutes. Within that window we will charge the quoted price even if the underlying catalogue price has risen. A quote does not reserve inventory and does not commit you to buy.
The price shown is the price charged. It is inclusive of everything we add and is quoted in credits.
5Orders, cancellation and delivery
Credits are debited when you place an order. Orders are sent to suppliers in a batch each morning. Until an order is sent you may cancel it for a full refund, and the API tells you which orders are still cancellable.
Each order carries the turnaround its supplier promised and derives a due date from it. Past that date the order is flagged. If it is still undelivered 21 days past due, your credits are returned automatically. This grace period may be varied by written agreement.
If a supplier rejects a line, that line is refunded in full when the rejection reaches us.
6Volume credits
Where pooled purchasing earns a volume rate from a supplier, we return a share of it to participating buyers as ordinary credits, weighted by what each bought. Credits are issued against what a supplier actually invoiced and are released after delivery.
This is a discretionary programme, not a contractual entitlement, and the rates are commercially confidential.
7What we do not promise
We do not promise rankings. No one honestly can. We promise that a placement you bought exists at the agreed URL, and that if it does not, you get your credits back.
Metrics are estimates. Domain ratings, traffic figures and spam scores come from third-party indexes and from our own measurement. Our verification flag marks domains whose authority is not supported by organic search presence. It is a strong signal, not a verdict, and a legitimate site can be flagged.
Placements can be removed. Publishers change, redirect and delete pages, and we do not control them. We do not guarantee permanence beyond what a supplier warranted at purchase.
Search engines may act on paid links. Buying links carries risk under the guidelines of major search engines. You decide whether to accept that risk. We do not advise on it.
8Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Systematically enumerate, scrape, resell or redistribute the catalogue. Rate limits and read allowances are set so the service can be searched, not copied.
- Order placements pointing at content that is unlawful, that infringes someone’s rights, or that promotes malware or fraud.
- Attempt to identify, contact or transact directly with our suppliers using information obtained through the service.
- Share, resell or sublicense API keys outside your organisation.
We may suspend an account that breaches this clause. Unspent credits on a suspended account remain refundable.
9Liability
The service is provided as-is. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost revenue, or loss of rankings or traffic.
Our total liability arising out of these terms is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
10Changes and termination
You may close your account at any time and request a refund of the unspent balance. We may terminate for breach, or on 30 days’ notice for any reason, refunding the unspent balance in either case.
We may change these terms. Material changes will be notified by email to the account address at least 14 days before they take effect, and orders already placed are governed by the terms in force when they were placed.
11Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of laws rules. The courts of Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction.
