Verification (of a domain's authority)
Our independent verdict on whether a domain’s rating is real. ok: measured, and none of the five quality tests fired. suspect: at least one fired; the row names which. unverified: not yet measured, which is not a pass. Today 24.7% of measured domains read suspect.
Where does verification appear in the API?
metrics.verification on offers, verification on quote lines and sites, with quality_reasons[] naming the tests. Suspect inventory is excluded from plans unless the brief says include_suspect; verified_only excludes unverified too.
Why does it matter?
A rating can be bought and a footprint cannot. Verification is the difference between a number a seller chose and a measurement nobody paid for. Method and thresholds: quality methodology.
See it on a live row:
“Explain verification on the rows of a 3-link finance plan.”
Methods: research methodology.
