Suspect domain
A domain that failed at least one of five independent tests: high authority with almost no traffic, high authority with almost no ranking keywords, spam score over 50, a subdomain with no footprint of its own, or a publisher linking out to five times as many domains as link in. What a link farm looks like from outside.
Where does suspect domain appear in the API?
verification: "suspect" with quality_reasons. A suspect publisher’s Placement Score is capped at 40. On the research pages the share is published as a percentage, never against a name.
Why does it matter?
Because they cluster where budgets are spent: the suspect share peaks in the DR DR 90 band at 50.6%. A legitimate site can be caught (young, non-English, non-search audience), which is why it is a default exclusion rather than a wall and the reason is always named.
